Here’s a Challenge for you all! What ‘Cauliflower’ based dish can i make from these meagre ingredients?
i’ve got;
1 Cauliflower (this is the only ingredient that cannot be excluded 
2 Tomatoes
Pasta
Rice
Bacon
Ham (cured Spanish- style)
2 Eggs
1 Knob of Butter
Potatoes
Garlic
Beef stock cubes
Red Peppers in brine
Lentils
kidney beans
1 can Sweetcorn
1 can Tuna
salt
pepper
sugar
parsley
cumin
thyme
basil
sunflower oil
vinegar
… and that’s all i got!

You could make a lovely vegetarian sheppards pie. (you could add your bacon or ham, or tuna to the pie filling mix) Very lightly steam your cauliflower (it will get additional cooking as it bakes). Drain and mix the cauliflower with the corn, kidney beans, and ham or bacon if using. Boil and mash the potatoes with the butter (and a little milk if you have it, water or beef stock from the cubes if you dont) Make a simple gravy or white sauce (if you cannot do this, just mash up the beans with a little stock to make a sauce) Mix the veggies and sauce together and pour into a buttered or greased casserole dish. Top with the mashed potatoes (I like to take a fork and “rake” the mashed potatoes into a cool pattern. Dot the top of the potatoes with a little butter, and bake the whole dish in a 350 oven (preheated) until the potatoes get nice and golden brown.
ALTERNATIVE:
CAULIFLOWER makes a wonderful hot dip or sauce (I make pizza sauce with it, since I am allergic to tomatoes) Just steam or boil the cauliflower until tender, then process it in a food processor with salt, herbs, pepper or other choice of seasonings. If you have a little cheese, throw it in and process it all while the cauliflower is still hot. Make a smooth puree and serve as a dip or use as a sauce.
ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE:
Remove the tops of the tomatoes, hollow them out, then blend the tomato pulp, tuna, and steamed cauliflower together with seasonings and herbs, and refill the hollowed out tomatoes with the mixture, and bake until heated through. top with a little cheese if you have it.
